4-5 February Naomi joined the launch of the new Erasmus+ Blueprint for Energy Intensive Industry (EII) – SKILLS4EII, building on the remarkable journey of SPIRE-SAIS project.
Our mission remains clear: empowering individuals, the sectors and society in EII with essential skills, with of course a special focus for the water people.
This new initiative will focus on integrating water and cross-sectoral skills, recognising that for technical innovation to flourish, we must also advance social innovation. Our goal is to foster a human-centric approach through an ongoing social innovation process for skills adjustment throughout the Energy Intensive Industries. More news on new channels etc how to follow the project will follow soon!
Our coordinator Antonius Schroeder of Technische Universität Dortmund also reminded us of it’s nostalgic moment; as we gather in the same room where, exactly five years ago, we launched SPIRE SAIS, just one week before the first lockdowns. We managed to create a community and collaborate as well create a follow up Blueprint project! Here’s to new beginnings and continued success!
We will keep you posted on our journey in Skills4EII!
