The Croatian case study was an interesting journey of coming out of my comfort zone while doing the business plan for ecological stations. It was even more interesting when I could see with my own eyes the station during Croatian week – I felt pride when I realized that our work may improve the prospects of the station. Additionally, Croatian week showed me the potential on how we can further collaborate to study water-energy-biodiversity nexus. The networking with other European projects (iMERMAID, NexusNet COST Action) was also an amazing opportunity to gain new perspectives.
