From November 19-21, Münster became the meeting point for our water professionals participating in the third week of the SKILLS4WATER (EJWP7). Hosted by the Accreditation Council for Entrepreneurial and Engaged Universities (ACEEU).

The week began with an energizing leadership training session led by Naomi Timmer. Participants explored the foundations of effective leadership, focusing on self-awareness and communication strategies. In the afternoon, the group embarked on a cultural journey through Münster’s historical city center, including a visit to the City Hall where the Peace of Westphalia was signed.

The second day focused on cooperation and co-creation, with participants diving deep into teamwork strategies. Through interactive sessions, the group discussed how collaborative approaches can unlock new solutions to pressing water issues. The energy in the room was contagious as ideas flowed freely, further solidifying bonds within the group.

The final day took a hands-on approach with innovation sprints, applying soft skills to real-world project tasks. By the end of the week, participants left not only with new skills but also with a renewed sense of purpose and a shared commitment to improve the water sector and to work together.

A special thank you to ACEEU for hosting and to all participants for their enthusiasm and dedication. Together, we’re shaping the future of water – one skill at a time.
