SKILLS4WATER is an Erasmus+ initiative designed to empower students and young professionals in the water sector with essential soft skills. The project aims to integrate these skills into higher education curricula, fostering innovation and leadership within the European water industry. Additionally, SKILLS4Water seeks to disseminate best practices across Europe, thereby contributing to the development of a sustainable and resilient water future and providing the EU with a skilled workforce.

Key objectives of SKILLS4Water include:

  • Developing innovative training programs with a focus on soft skills and career guidance.
  • Conducting train-the-trainer activities to ensure effective dissemination of knowledge.
  • Modernizing water curricula to incorporate interdisciplinary collaboration development.
  • Establishing a Community Hub to facilitate webinars, networking, and knowledge sharing among stakeholders.

Our contribution:
In the SKILLS4Water project, H2O People plays a crucial role in communication and program development. Specifically, H2O People is responsible for:

  • Developing the Innovative Training Programme, focusing on equipping participants with essential soft skills and promoting innovation and leadership in the water industry.
  • Serving as the main developer and multiplier of Lifelong Learning (LLL) approaches and tools within the Augmented Collaboration Toolkit.
  • Overseeing the general communication efforts of the project, including coordinating the training and events work package.
    Through these endeavors, H2O People aims to contribute to the project’s overarching goals of enhancing the skillset of water professionals, fostering collaboration, and shaping a sustainable and resilient future for the European water industry.
